Located in Los Angeles County, California, Inglewood Unified School District serves a diverse population of more than 11,000 students (in transitional kindergarten through 12th grade) from the city of Inglewood and community of Ladera Heights.
The first Inglewood school opened in 1888; Inglewood Unified School District was later founded in 1953. Today, the District supports 10 elementary, two TK-8, two middle, and three high schools, along with a continuation high school.
We are proud of our talented students, faculty and staff members! Six of our primary schools have been designated as California Distinguished Schools, and one has earned the National Blue Ribbon distinction. Our focus on instruction excellence continues in middle school and high school, as students take advantage of cutting-edge technology, STEM programs, college readiness and award-winning athletics and extra-curriculars. Many of our graduates go on to some of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the nation
